Dec 7, 2010 - This is a horrible drug. The withdrawal from Tramadol is some of the worst pains I have ever had in my life. I was only on them for about 6 months and I noticed I kept needing more and more to feel the effects. I decided that it was getting out of hand so I stopped taking them. The leg pains were probably the worst part of the withdrawal. It does more harm then good.

Dec 29, 2010 - @BackwardsHatToucan a synthetic opiate works the exact same way a natural opiate does. They just create the substance in a lab that has the same exact molecular structure as the chemicals found in poppies growing naturally. Don't think or give misinformation that just because it's synthetic, you won't get as addicted to it or that it doesn't have the same effects as the same kinds of drugs created using natural opiates! The whole difference between synthetic opiates and pill forms of natural
DragonballZ22368 Says:
Dec 29, 2010 - opiates vs. naturally derived opiates (such as eating or smoking the resin from poppies) is that they mix them in with other chemicals in an attempt to block the euphoric "rush," so the pill acts like a painkiller without promoting the happy feelgood effects. The time-release coating further prevents the euphoric rush, and mixing the opiate with aspirin, tylenol or advil is only done in an attempt to deter people from abusing it (since too much of those other painkillers can destroy your liver)
DragonballZ22368 Says:
Dec 29, 2010 - Unfortunately most people pop as many pills as they want regardless of the dangers of liver damage from mega-doses of Tylenol; it's not deterring anyone from anything. ANY opiate, synthetic or natural, will give you bad DT's...of course everyone's body is different & it all depends on what you take, how much of it, how long, & your own body's tolerance. This "public service message" is actually kind of funny, what did they even make this video for?!

Dec 29, 2010 - @bostonred915 then you didn't take enough. LOL. If you took one low-dose pill then you likely won't feel anything. Remember, they aren't exactly manufactured to get you high, they're meant to simply kill pain. If you are trying to get a rush off them then you likely aren't taking a high enough dose, which of course I'm not suggesting you take more than the prescribed amount. I had a friend who felt nothing from tramadol, whereas I would get a pretty good rush from 3-4 pills. everyone's different

Mar 29, 2011 - "Tramadol can help alleviate withdrawal symptoms from opiates, and it is much easier to lower the quantity of its usage, compared with opioids such as hydrocodone and oxycodone.[70]" --Wikipedia.

Apr 28, 2011 - @RealityMelter That is BS, I have tried taking them to get off hydrocodone, they made the WD a little easier, but after a week or two them got much worse, even after taking hydrocodone...you get addicted to the tramadol then you need it, and what ever you replaced..Wikipedia is BS most of the time..

Jun 10, 2011 - This medication is not technically classified as an opiate; but I can ASSURE you it IS one. Its a synthetic derivative comprised of opioid compounds.I didnt place this statement to be argumentative, so I wont be responding to any statements of that nature. Just trying to be informative.Have a good day/night, Jah bless.

Oct 28, 2011 - I took Tramadol when I injured a hip. During such injury, my mid-section was also hurt - not so bad I thought. Anyway, my liver was sufficiently injured as to not being able to really process Tramadol. I took the medicine only twice.
